Job Title: Fleet Engineer Duration: Until 31/01/2025, with a possible extension Location: Crewe Working Hours: Fully onsite, 35 hours per week, between 8 AM – 5 PM Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: Vehicle Planning & Definition: Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to advise on and support the planning and specification of vehicles for each project.

Coordinate Vehicle Usage: Maximise vehicle utilisation and optimise transport requirements while ensuring adherence to security protocols.
Vehicle Issue Resolution: Address concerns raised about vehicles within the business and ensure timely updates.
Disguise Strategy Management: Source and implement vehicle disguise strategies.
Key Competencies & Qualifications: Strong understanding of financial limits within the area of responsibility.
Excellent communication skills across various forums and levels.
Ability to influence and guide colleagues.
Strong problem-solving skills for addressing cross-functional issues.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to conduct risk assessments.
Proficiency in German is highly desirable.
Skills & Experience: Familiarity with vehicle road-worthiness and legislative requirements in relevant countries.
Advanced knowledge of design and development, testing and measurement, engineering drawings, and relevant software tools.
Familiarity with the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
Qualifications: An engineering Degree or equivalent is preferable.
Membership in a relevant professional institution and Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
Health & Safety: The Fleet Engineer will ensure compliance with local Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain personal and team safety.
