We are currently seeking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator to join our already well-established HR Team. The role will be based at our Leeds facility and will support the day to day running of our busy HR function. Reporting to the HR Manager, and working closely with all members of the Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration and support service, across all aspects of human resource. Working collaboratively, you will ensure a high quality, professional service is delivered to the Organisation, which enables the Company to achieve its business goals and objectives, as well as meeting its responsibilities to its human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the Company’s HR and L&D databases are up to date, accurate and comply with relevant legislation.
2. Maintain the HR and L&D team’s electronic and paper filing systems.
3. Act as the first point of contact for all basic HR related queries such as holiday accrual and sickness entitlement.
4. Manage the onboarding process of new starters, processing leavers, and internal transfers.
5. Handle documentation related to ad-hoc changes to terms and conditions of employment.
6. Support the Department with various ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
The role would suit someone who has previous knowledge of basic HR processes and strong administration skills. The successful candidate should be able to communicate confidently, both written and verbally, at all levels internally and externally. The ability to prioritise your workload and work autonomously are key to this role. Organisational planning skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and switch quickly and easily between challenges as and when required. A sound knowledge of IT is essential for this role and experience of using Microsoft packages, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint would also be an advantage, as would knowledge of Mitrefinch HR Systems; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a part time position, working a 25-hour week, 5 days per week (working hours are open to negotiation with a level of flexibility). The role offers a competitive salary of £12.55 per hour, as well as all the benefits associated with a large, successful Company. The sites are ideally located to benefit from excellent motorway links to make it easily accessible and offers free on-site parking.
