* As a Logistic Supervisor you will be focused on the logistics and fulfilment of the project. This role requires someone who is highly analytical to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and resources to and from construction sites. This role involves overseeing the logistical aspects of construction projects, which can be complex and demanding.
Responsibilities:
* Material Procurement: Coordinate the procurement of construction materials, ensuring they are delivered to the construction site on time and in the right quantities. This includes managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and monitoring inventory levels.
* Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and equipment on construction sites. Implement systems for tracking inventory levels, reorder points, and restocking materials as needed to avoid project delays.
* Transportation Management: Arrange and manage the transportation of materials and equipment to and from construction sites. This includes selecting appropriate modes of transportation (trucks, forklifts, cranes, etc.), scheduling deliveries, and optimizing routes for cost-efficiency.
* Storage and Warehousing: Ensure the safe and secure storage of construction materials and equipment. This may involve setting up temporary on-site storage facilities or coordinating with off-site warehouses.
