* ITIL Foundation qualification with demonstrable awareness of ITIL best practices.
* Extensive experience in supporting digital services within a large organization.
* Proven ability to provide first-line support and effectively resolve incidents and requests to users' satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line support for resolving application issues while ensuring timely and accurate communication in line with service level agreements.
* Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical and system issues as per the councils' ITIL processes.
* Specify, implement, install, and configure new third-party line of business applications to ensure they meet the service area's needs.
* Write and maintain technical documentation in accordance with the councils' Information Management standards.

We are offering an exciting and varied role where you will be part of a dedicated team of technical staff supporting users of the council's business applications. Your work will involve investigating and resolving problems, as well as accurately documenting fixes to technical issues. We provide a starting salary of £30,797 per annum for this full-time position (37 hours per week) and enhanced annual leave of 25 days per annum, plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.
