What the Job Involves Your primary role will be to implement positive changes in complex cases involving children, families, and carers. You will use systemic social work methods to help clients gain independence, manage abuse and neglect risks, and meet care needs. You will also lead professional judgments, conduct assessments, develop care plans, and promote inter-agency collaboration. This role involves working on challenging caseloads, preparing court reports, maintaining legislative knowledge, and resolving complaints. You will model good practices, taking on projects, mentoring junior staff, and working flexibly, including some work beyond regular office hours.
