Key Responsibilities as a Design and Technology Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Inspire students to explore a range of disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering.
Foster creativity and critical thinking through hands-on, project-based learning.
Encourage students to develop practical skills and technical knowledge in a supportive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to ensure success.
Requirements for the Design and Technology Teacher Role:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialise in Design and Technology or a related subject.
Be passionate about promoting design, innovation, and practical skills.
Possess excellent classroom management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
