We are looking for motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, supporting secondary schools in Ellesmere Port and Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your skills, and play a key role in students' learning journeys.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
* Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
* Provide support to teachers and other school staff, assisting with planning and preparation where required.
* Work flexibly across a range of subjects, gaining insight into different areas of the curriculum.
* Foster strong relationships with students, motivating and encouraging them to achieve their best.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-focused setting.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference.
* A degree is desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds and experience levels.
* Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
