Position: Solicitor – Anti Social Behaviour / Housing Management

About the Role:
I am seeking an experienced Qualified Solicitor specialising in Housing Management and Injunctions. This role demands a professional who is adept at managing a full spectrum of housing management caseloads, with a particular focus on anti-social behaviour cases, drafting applications, conducting advocacy, and advising clients on complex housing issues.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend court hearings promptly and work within a hybrid environment, attending the office as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Case Management:
o Handle a caseload of 80-90 housing management cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution.
o Review files thoroughly, provide advice to clients, and prepare comprehensive paperwork.
* Advocacy and Court Attendance:
o Conduct advocacy for injunctions and other housing-related matters.
o Attend court hearings at Court as required, sometimes on short notice.
* Drafting and Legal Advice:
o Draft applications and prepare relevant documentation for anti-social behaviour and housing management cases.
o Provide accurate legal advice on housing management issues, including but not limited to anti-social behaviour, tenancy agreements, and property management disputes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in injunctions, advocacy, and attending court (not suitable for candidates with minimal experience).
* Strong experience managing a broad spectrum of housing management caseloads, particularly anti-social behaviour cases.
* Familiarity with local authority procedures and housing laws, with prior local authority experience preferred.
Key Competencies and Skills:
* Exceptional drafting, advocacy, and legal analysis skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle high caseload volumes effectively.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
Other Requirements:
* Must be in West Midlands for ease of court attendance.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid role, with occasional office attendance as required.
