Reporting to the Director of Corporate Governance, the Head of Corporate Governance will manage the Governance team and have a broad remit in ensuring the corporate governance framework and processes of the organisation, including risk management, are effective and well run.

In summary, the post holder will be responsible for establishing and managing the highest levels of corporate governance throughout the organisation. The post holder will act as expert advisor and support throughout the organisation, including to the Director of Corporate Governance, the Executive team and the Board of Directors, on issues relating to corporate governance, ensuring the organisation's corporate affairs are undertaken and directed to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements, and in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.
The post holder will manage the Governance team, with a number of direct reports and ensure that the team deliver to the highest standards of corporate governance, developing the team and leading on best practice.

8. Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
