Carnival UK is in search of a Project Manager, who is crucial in supporting our organisational direction and nurturing a high-performing team.
Role Overview
The role will involve managing the key priority projects for P&O Cruises. The current primary project is the allergens project, aimed at improving the allergens process from supplier sourcing to guest allergy information capture and delivery on board, ensuring that dietary requirements are met accurately.
Key Accountabilities
1. Overseeing priority projects within P&O Cruises, with a current focus on the allergens project.
2. Engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, from senior management to working groups, requiring strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
3. Ensuring project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and in adherence with governance processes.
4. Tracking and reporting on project progress, highlighting priorities and using tools like Perform to monitor progress.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK07, offered as a full-time position, on a 12 month fixed term basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive as a Project Manager, we're looking for:
1. Project management qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, etc.
2. Strong influencing & communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
3. Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management best practices.
4. Experience managing and delivering complex projects, including risk management and strategic thinking.
5. Resilience and adaptability, balancing competing priorities.
