Baxter Compounding in Oxford is looking for a Warehouse Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for raw materials on site and working proactively as part of a cross-functional Warehouse team. This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are Mon - Fri 12 - 8 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities in the Warehouse Area:
* To receive and book in raw materials
* Locate raw materials in Warehouse as required
* Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
* Support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties
* Work as part of a cross-functional team and learn various jobs in Warehouse areas to support the business
* Work on their own initiative as and when required
* Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
* Notify Quality assurance, Team Leaders and Supervisors of any deviations from the process
* Place orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production
* Replenish Stock locations when needed
Duties and Responsibilities in the Packing Area:
* Maintain equipment in a validated state
* Internal packaging operation support including packaging and labeling of supplies
* Document management
* Data entry in applicable GMP inventory/distribution systems
* Printing of supplies/materials/labels
* Electronic/physical preparation of supplies for shipping
* Escalate issues as needed
* Tracking of requests and orders in support of operations
* Material stock monitoring, usage, and quantity tracking
* Raising shipments and tracking through to delivery and/or receipts
* Monitor timelines, task completions and other data for use in department metrics
* Generate reports/documents from multiple systems
Skills and Experience:
* Strong problem-solving skills and task management skills
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to take ownership of tasks and work with autonomy
* Computer Skills – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
* Experience in working in a regulated environment/GMP would be advantageous
