An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Facility Project Engineer to join the Test Facilities Design Office based in Bristol.
The Test Facility Project Engineer will act as the technical interface between the customer and operations to support the verification testing of gas turbine engines and rigs.

What you will be doing:
You’ll be accountable for the planning, readiness and execution of test activities, for the Experimental, Flight Compliance and Pre-Production engine programmes for the Bristol Test site including Development Rigs.
1. Delivery of Engineering projects, on time and to budget.
2. Manage project requirements to enable planning, interpreting, organising, executing, and the coordination of test activities to meet customer objectives.
3. Act as the technical interface communicating the project status (budget, schedule and risk) to stakeholders.
4. Provide coaching/support to engineers on technical issues relating to the planning, readiness, and execution of engine testing.
5. Maintaining a holistic understanding of the test facility capability in relation to project deliverables. With the aim of reducing project risk by challenging the design solution, to ensure it meets agreed requirements.
Who we’re looking for:
1. Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
2. Member of a professional body and working towards a APMPQ qualification or equivalent.
3. At least 2 years’ experience in technical project management.
4. Previous experience in development or experimental disciplines.
5. Good Communication skills.
