The regional logistics function is responsible for the management of distribution operations to meet customer requirements. The function will improve the overall performance of this key business process and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements Key Accountabilities To ensure the vehicle and all equipment entrusted to him/her is properly maintained, kept in a clean condition and that all vehicle records are correctly maintained as required by the current legislation and company procedures. To comply with the relevant company personnel and administration policies and procedures. To ensure that all Health and Safety, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulatory requirements are followed. To ensure that all waste disposals, water discharges and dust emissions are dealt with in accordance with the Environmental procedures down. To carry out deliveries in the most cost effective, efficient, and courteous manner. To ensure that attendance to the operating unit is timely and consistent with meeting the requirements of the company. To perform any other relevant duties as requested by Management.
