About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and stimulating Art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
* Teach a broad range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art.
* Develop and implement creative projects that encourage students to explore their own ideas and develop their artistic skills.
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Art examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
* Maintain a well-organised and stimulating learning environment.
* Contribute to departmental displays and exhibitions, showcasing student artwork.
* Contribute to the extra curricular art activities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
* Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Art examinations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* A passion for art and a commitment to fostering creativity.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience teaching a range of mediums.
