You will be a key member of the HR team providing high-quality advice and guidance across the full range of HR, establishing yourself as a key professional advisor whilst at the same time embedding and maintaining systems, policies, procedures and best practice.
You will provide generalist HR advice to dedicated service areas at all levels of the organisation and must have experience of managing ER casework, including but not limited to, active involvement in disciplinaries, formal absence meetings, grievance investigations and restructures.
You must have up to date knowledge of Employment Law and its practical application and hold a CIPD qualification at a level 5 or above or be working towards one.
The qualities you must have are excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail, with strong organisational abilities. You will need a creative approach to problem resolution, analysis and interpretation of employee-related matters as well as a broad understanding of HR issues.
You will need to demonstrate you have the skills, experience and capabilities as described in the person specification.
This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 2 days per week working in the office, Tuesday and Thursday) and you will be required to occasionally travel to other IBC venues within the Ipswich borough.
