Job Summary
ThisCompany is seeking to appoint an M&A Analyst to join theM&A Advisory Department which is part of the Financeorganization. The M&A Advisory Department provides financeinput to transactions throughout the transaction process includingstructuring valuation due diligence and support to negotiations anddocumentation as well as providing objective and independent adviceto senior management relating to transactions.
The M&A Analyst role supports the development andexecution of transactions by providing comprehensive valuationactivities to large and complex international transactions oftenagainst challenging deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Offers expert and unbiased guidance to seniormanagement to facilitate decisionmaking regarding M&Avaluations on specific transactions.
* Assistsin the development and execution of M&A transactions throughcomprehensive financial analysis including constructing andutilizing intricate financial models conducting risk anduncertainty assessments and generating financialstatements.
* Sources and oversees valuationinputs from various internal and external sources providing adviceon identified gaps deficiencies and risks.
* Provides guidance coaching and mentorship to team membersin specialized areas.
* Contributes to ongoingenhancements of processes and methodologies to establish a centerof excellence for valuation within the company.
* Undertakes ad hoc financial analysis tasks such astransfer pricing assessments impairment reviews Shareek incentivesevaluations and group policy reviews.
* Overseesexternal Financial Advisors and consultants for valuationactivities on transactions cultivating relationships with banks tooffer external insights on the M&A landscape to thecompany.
Requirements:
* This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
* Accumulate over 10years of relevant experience in conducting financial analysis forM&A transactions typically acquired in leading investment banksaccounting firms or large international corporations.
* Demonstrate significant involvement in large andintricate crossborder transactions within the energy or naturalresources sectors.
* Possess expertlevelproficiency in financial analysis tools and methodologies with asolid understanding of financial statements International FinancialReporting Standards (IFRS) and international taxation.
* Hold a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting BusinessManagement or Engineering; while an advanced business degree (e.g.MBA) or Accounting qualification is preferred its notmandatory.
* Exhibit strong numerical skillscoupled with methodical organization and adaptability tochallenging and dynamic work environments capable of managingcompeting priorities with minimal supervision.
* Display confident communication skills both verbal andwritten and excel as a team player swiftly integrating into diverseteams and offering experience in coaching and mentoring other teammembers.
