Job Description
Performs general radiology and fluoroscopy, including portable and/or procedures, for patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric. Works rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call for diagnostic radiology.
Certification & Licensures
* ARRT (N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
* BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required.
* Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology training program is necessary.
Note: New hires must obtain American Heart Association (AHA) certification prior to completing orientation.
Qualifications
* ARRT (R) Registered or registry eligible with satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program.
* Applicants from Winchester Medical Center who have completed 18 months of training in Medical Radiography may be considered, subject to program director approval. Registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
* Ability to perform examinations and procedures on patients of all ages.
* Knowledge of human growth and development, providing radiologic services for neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
* Ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism when dealing with upset or uncooperative patients and staff.
