Job Description To have a confident and comprehensive knowledge of beverage service. Manage the bar fully, responsible for team members, briefing and training of staff, stock handling and ensuring the customer receives excellent service. To be able to promote products, understand composite and processes, including menu, ingredients, allergens and service style, etc. Actively work with other departments to ensure that guests have the best experience possible. To ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including health & safety, hygiene, working legislation. To deal with any customer feedback or complaints and report any service or quality issues. Able to work both independently and as part of a team and use own initiative to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. Ensuring the bar/cellar is thoroughly cleaned and prepped both ready for service throughout the day and the next event. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills: Essential; Must be reliable and available to work evening & weekends as required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Confident, friendly and personable manner. Able to use initiative to resolve problems. Knowledge of licensing laws as well as challenge 25, ask Angela/Clive. Must have had previous experience in a similar role. Desirable Knowledge of cellar management procedures including changing barrels and gas. Previous experience of managing teams. Comprehensive product knowledge of beverages. Use of Oracle Micros till system. Knowledge of stock take procedures
