Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals as a Consultant Cardiologist. There are two posts available and the successful applicants will join a dynamic and committed team of 7 other Consultants, 5 registrars and a large team of specialist nurses who support the inpatient and outpatient services on Ward 22 at Bradford Royal Infirmary, and at St Luke's Hospital for Outpatients There will also be the opportunity to develop the coronary intervention service within the cardiac catheter lab alongside Ward 22, delivering PCI and diagnostic angiography as well as new services such as coronary sinus reducers and microvascular testing. Main duties of the job To develop the acute and general cardiology service. Tofurther develop and expand the interventional service. To supervise and train junior medical staff, specialist nurses and research nurses To have responsibility for the cardiology in-patient beds Teaching and administration.
