ATA Recruitment has partnered with a well-established FMCG company that specializes in manufacturing. The company has multiple sites across the UK, with a turnover of over 3 billion pounds globally, providing a range of products. They pride themselves on manufacturing products that are fully recyclable and supporting the circular economy.
The company has been successfully trading for over 30 years and has recently experienced high demands due to market conditions. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a 4 on 6 off shift to support and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department.
ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers from the FMCG manufacturing sector based in the St Neots area or nearby.
Key accountabilities for the position of Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer:
1. Maintain electrical components such as panels, sensors, relays, safety circuits, and motors.
2. React to breakdowns.
3. Planned Preventative Maintenance.
4. Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
5. Maintain mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
6. Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
7. PLC fault-finding skills diagnosis & repair of industrial machinery.
8. Replace and repair electrical components.
Requirements for the position of Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer:
1. An experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer working within an FMCG environment.
2. A good understanding of electrical engineering.
3. A hands-on team player.
4. Qualifications: Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, city and guilds – electrical.
5. Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
