Bookkeeper needed on a fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave

Job Description
The Bookkeeper will cover some of the following:
* Daily bank matching and bank reconciliations for all group entities
* Inter company recharge invoicing and reconciliations
* Posting credit card receipts
* Dealing with parent billing queries
* Soft credit control i.e., sending statements and chasing slow payers. Identify any that FD needs to be aware of and pass on to recover
* Support with month end process and close
* Support with year end audit
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
* Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting within the not-for-profit sector.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
* Demonstrable experience in daily transactional work and supporting different team members in a small, close knit team.
* Previous exposure to a common ERP system, such as Sage, Oracle, SAP or strong Excel is an advantage.
