Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEMH Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Dagenham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tutoring in English and Maths subjects at GCSE level Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties Develop individualised learning plans based on student assessments Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEMH needs Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans Proficiency in using educational technology Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work closely with students in their homes, in a one-on-one setting Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
