Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant with Axcis Education, you will be supporting children and young people with additional needs. This could be at a primary or secondary aged level. The roles are varied, and can encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
1. Working 1:1 both inside and outside of the classroom with pupils with SEND
2. Supporting the class teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons
3. Leading small groups of learners in interventions
You must be open to supporting individuals with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD and other SEMH needs that may exhibit as challenging behaviour.
Job Specifications:
The positions may vary from short term to long term, part time or full time. These are temporary positions; permanent roles can be offered by our schools for the right candidates. Hours will range between 08:30 - 15:30.
