We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at a children's residential facility in Penrith, UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a focus on children's residential services. Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's residential facility
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the facility
Manage and lead a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Monitor and maintain the budget for the facility
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to provide the best possible care for the children
Handle any issues or concerns that may arise, including safeguarding and risk management
Maintain accurate records and reports on the facility's operations and performance
Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the services provided to the children and their familiesRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a children's residential setting
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for children's residential services
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts and issues effectively
Proficient in budget management and financial reporting
Strong organizational and time-management skills
