Role Overview As a Project Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Programme and Project Managers to ensure the effective identification, evaluation, and management of project risks. You will be a subject matter expert in Project Risk Management procedures, fostering a culture of proactive risk management while delivering impactful insights and reports for senior management. Key Responsibilities Identify and support appropriate Risk and Action Owners. Manage the identification and evaluation of risks, including threats and opportunities. Advise on and support the development of appropriate risk treatment strategies. Ensure treatment action plans are time-bound and integrated into project schedules. Analyze residual risk using Monte Carlo analysis and other methodologies. Oversee progress on risk treatment action plans and contingency management. Prepare risk data for project reviews and corporate reporting. Facilitate monthly risk reviews and support ad hoc requests from stakeholders. Maintain accuracy and currency of risk data within registers or systems. Deliver scenario analysis and comprehensive risk reporting. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in Risk Management within projects and programs. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. High numeracy with experience in estimating (cost and schedule) and financial modeling. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging management-level audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Skilled in negotiating, influencing, and presenting to diverse teams. Understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies (desirable).
