An established law firm is looking for skilled Housing Disrepair Fee Earner/Solicitor to join their teams in Manchester and Liverpool, with flexible hybrid working options available. Key Responsibilities: Handle a caseload of pre- and post-litigated housing disrepair claims, primarily under Sections 9a and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985. Oversee cases from inception to conclusion, adhering to the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions. Provide clear and effective communication with clients, handling all aspects of the claim and managing client expectations throughout the process. Ensure accurate documentation, attention to detail, and timely completion of all case-related tasks, managing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Requirements: 4 years of experience managing housing disrepair or civil litigation cases. Solid understanding and experience with housing disrepair law; those with significant contentious civil litigation experience (10 years) are also encouraged to apply. Ability to bill work at Grade B or above. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an excellent eye for detail.
