The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our successful Geography department. We are looking for someone who is committed, innovative, and solutions-focused. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with extra-curricular activities as well as numerous CPD opportunities both within the department and externally. A passion for Geography is a must, along with a keen desire to continuously develop subject knowledge and pedagogy. You will be well supported by a friendly and knowledgeable team and a fully resourced department.
About You
You will have Qualified Teacher Status and be a strong classroom practitioner who motivates and inspires students with your passion for Geography. You have the ability to achieve success within a secondary school setting and are able to deliver ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’ lessons. You possess good interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills, and have the highest expectations of yourself and our students.
