Key Account Manager – National Spirit Brand – South West – Up to £60k + Package

As the Key Account Manager you will be specifically responsible for driving sales with new business across larger account sizes in the region. The Key Account Manager will be instrumental in business success with a network of contacts within the ON TRADE sector, along with a passion and background in great spirits.
The ideal key account manager will be actively looking after account which range in sizes from 10 to 70 sites, with a strong level of connections in the South West.
The Key Account Manager responsibilities:
1. Grow the brand within large Multiple and Key Accounts in the South West.
2. Drive the visibility of the product in the market and build a network of awareness.
3. Delivering on a channel strategy which aligns with company goals and growth.
4. Identify marketing opportunities, establish competitor analysis and implement sales campaigns
5. Seeking and securing new business, maintaining current relationships and managing P&L in a commodity driven environment.
6. Collaborate with other departments and establish a networking with the Drinks industry.
7. Implementation of training; achieving budgeted targets
The ideal Key Account Manager Candidate:
8. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales or Brand role within the drinks industry.
9. Proven track record in securing new business, building upon a brand, account management and sales driving.
10. Demonstrated experience bringing in new business and a strong network within the Drinks Sector, inclusive of managing accounts with multiple locations.
11. Passion for the drinks industry and continually up to date on news and trends
12. Ambitious and driven on all areas of sales and client development
13. Strong communication skills – able to work in a team or independently.
14. A natural entrepreneur and a thirst for new experiences.
