This role is an integral part of the Stark Connect team. The main purpose is to carry out metering tasks including those of a complex technical nature to time, cost and quality targets to satisfy business and customer service requirements and provide technical support to the team.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Install, maintain, remove and replace all types of metering equipment.
2. Commission all types of metering equipment.
3. Test and verify all LV metering equipment.
4. Operate the LV system for associated metering activities in accordance with procedures.
5. Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations.
6. Undertake remote testing of metering equipment.
7. Investigate high consumption complaints and resolve queries with customers.
8. Investigate dangerous occurrences and resolve customer problems.
9. Work on non-standard and other Distribution Business’ equipment.
10. Carry out work on installations.
11. Check and inspect work undertaken by the team for quality and safety standards.
12. Organise people and co-ordinate resources and supplies.
13. Coach and guide other staff including instructions to colleagues in completing tasks.
14. Plan and schedule work and make quotations on site to customers.
15. Provide technical explanation to the team and customers.
