Job Title – Rent Operations Manager\nLocation – Nottingham\nContract – Temporary (3 months, potential extension)\nHours – 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Hybrid working, 2 days in the office on average)\nSalary – Equivalent to £44,711 per annum (Inside IR35)\nRole Summary\n We are recruiting for an experienced Rent Operations Manager to join Nottingham City Council on a temporary basis, pending a permanent recruitment campaign. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recovery of unpaid rents within NCC Housing Services, working closely with the Head of Rents to coordinate service delivery across the Income Team.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee rent recovery operations, ensuring effective income management.\nLead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality performance.\nWork closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve collection rates.\nEnsure compliance with Housing Benefits and Welfare benefits policies.\nManage competing priorities in a fast-paced housing management environment.Requirements\n\nExperience in rents/income management at a managerial level (not just Income Officer level).\nProven management experience in a high-pressure, customer-focused setting.\nStrong knowledge of Housing Benefits and Welfare benefits.\nAbility to lead and develop a team to achieve performance targets.Desirable\n\nNVQ Level 4/5 or Chartered Institute of Housing qualification (or working towards).If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please send your CV now for consideration.\nFor more information, contact George at Service Care Solutions on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
