As an X-Ray Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
* Accurately position patients and apply proper radiation protection techniques.
* Assess image quality and liaise with radiologists for further evaluation.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
* Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide the best patient outcomes.
* Adhere to health and safety standards, infection control, and radiation protection guidelines.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
* Qualified Radiographer with a degree or diploma in Radiography.
* HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration (or equivalent, if applicable).
* Proven experience in X-ray imaging within a hospital or clinical setting.
* Strong understanding of radiation safety and best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
