Job summary Hollinwood Medical Practice is seeking an experienced ANP to work 18 hours per-week, within their professional boundaries, to see patients on an appointment bases and provides care including initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients presenting at the practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. Main duties of the job Assess, examine, diagnose, treat patients attending the practice within the parameters of experience and competency. To be an independent prescriber and prescribe within the formulary agreed with the practice dependent upon experience and training. To work autonomously with patients being able to assess, diagnose and manage patients attending with minor illness and injuries. To recognise when other clinicians will be best placed to review a patient and to ensure all patients receive the highest care.
