A Commercial Manager with Estimating Experience, who is also keen on sales and customer acquisition would be the ideal candidate. We have the ideal setup for someone willing to make their mark and bring the company up to the next level.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Site meetings with client and assessing project scope.
* Producing accurate take offs & bill of quantities for projects using first principle methods.
* Ability to manage every aspect of site & maintenance operations. From set up, running and completion.
* Ability to plan and allocate labour accordingly.
* Produce and update procurement schedules for all projects.
* Package scopes & drawings to allow subcontractor packaging with zero scope gap.
* Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.
* Complete all valuation and billing/invoicing.
* Manage and monitor variations and changes.
* Fluent with current building regulations & BS codes
* Monitor costs and expenditure across the construction process.
Job Requirements
Experience of managing cost on projects within industrial and commercial sectors
Skills in Estimating, Cost Control, BOQ, Cost Management, and Cost Forecasting and Planning Experienced working within a principal building contractor
Skills to enable reactive working for maintenance projects
Experienced in creating detailed cost reports
Solid experience in the construction industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Drivers licence is essential.
Conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and estimating software.
Experience of JCT & NEC contracts
Educated as a minimum to HNC/HND/Degree level - or equivalent preferred
Experience of Pre-Qualification and Tendering process from bidding through to award of contract.
Qualifications
* MUST have experience in the Civil Engineering & Commercial Build / Fitout Experience
* Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and software
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
