We’re currently looking for an Administrator to join us at our beautiful woodlands surrounded school in Darwen. The purpose of the Administrator role is to provide an excellent support service incorporating all aspects of School Administration. Key duties Working both independently and effectively as part of the Administrative and Support Team to provide an excellent administrative support service. Collating and editing reports Maintaining and updating manual and computerised records. Organising and facilitating events Support the induction of new staff to the school To provide support to the recruitment and onboarding processes of staff. To provide support for HR to include sickness absence reporting and keeping training records up to date Prepare documentation and materials ensuring a high level of accuracy. Reception cover as and when required Skills and Experience Required Experience of working in a school environment desirable but not essential Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email and web and general office systems Adaptable, flexible approach to work including collaborative support to other colleagues to meet demands of the business Excellent organisation and time management skills ability to work in a busy and demanding environment Ability to be discreet and protect confidentiality Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Accurate typing, touch typing desirable.
