The job will be based in the South of County Durham and would also include supervising family time for children who are residing outside of their parents' care. This would include taking notes and appropriately documenting all interactions observed, addressing any safeguarding concerns in the moment, and supporting parents and the children at the end of the sessions. You will require relevant experience and a passion to work with and support vulnerable children and families in the home and community settings; evidence of delivering planned interventions using evidence-based practice leading to improved outcomes; experience of group facilitation and responding effectively to safeguarding issues and concerns.
