About the opportunity You will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) particularly Gender Equity actions. You will ensure projects are effectively initiated, scoped, and managed to deliver the planned objectives. You will also be responsible for completing and submitting all Gender Equity related compliance and regulatory reporting as well as other DEI related submissions. About you Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. Extensive experience working effectively with diverse groups, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles, with a particular focus on advancing gender equity within the Australian university sector. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation (State and Commonwealth) including Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 and Fair Work Act 2009. Previous experience working within the SAGE Athena Swan process (highly desirable not essential). Highly developed analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to design the collection of data, and to extract and analyse data relevant to monitoring and reporting on DEI.
