This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across a global organisation, ensuring seamless financial consolidation and driving improvements in financial systems and processes. What You’ll Do : As the Financial Systems Accountant, you’ll: Manage Financial Systems : Support the maintenance and development of our consolidation system, including upgrades, new functionality, and documentation. Enable User Success : Train new and existing users on system functionality, ensuring effective utilisation of tools across global finance teams. Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with the Group Finance team, local finance teams, IT, and third-party support to deliver system enhancements and resolve issues. Drive Continuous Improvement : Play a significant role in system integration projects, particularly with the Group's new ERP implementation, enhancing process efficiency and user experience. Own Operational Excellence : Ensure accurate consolidation processes, multi-currency reporting, and streamlined workflows to support Group financial reporting. What You’ll Bring : To thrive in this role, you’ll have: Accounting Expertise : Experience in accounting and financial consolidation, ideally holding a recognised qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Systems Knowledge : Hands-on experience in managing group consolidation systems and driving changes such as upgrades, design, testing, and deployment. Multi-Currency Experience : Expertise in financial reporting for multi-currency operations. Collaboration Skills : Exceptional communication abilities to work across global teams and effectively articulate complex concepts. Project Management Skills : Experience juggling multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines, and managing stakeholder expectations.
