Job Title: Town Planner

What is the Role?
In this role, you will report to the Planning Manager and work collaboratively with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting planning and development appraisals to support project delivery.
* Preparing and submitting planning applications, including Outline and Full applications.
* Performing site assessments and analyzing planning histories and policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Liaising with internal teams and external consultants to facilitate smooth project progression.
* Drafting Planning Statements and other essential documents to support applications accurately and on time.
* Engaging with local communities and attending consultation events to build positive relationships and gather feedback.
* Assisting in the formulation of planning strategies for new developments, contributing to the company’s growth.
What Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Are They Looking For?
* Previous experience in development management or planning policy, ideally in the private sector.
* A degree or Master’s in Planning, with MRTPI accreditation preferred.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
* A full UK driving licence.
