Production Associate For over 40 million people in the UK, spectacles are the first thing reached for in the morning, and the last thing taken off at night. Even the overworked smartphone can’t seize pole position. But the optical industry hasn’t changed in over three centuries. Products are tired, standards are poor, and glasses wearers have got used to sub-standard experiences. We’re changing that. The role We are the team that makes everything happen, supporting our 15 beautiful retail stores, growing digital site and customer experience teams, and ultimately our hundreds of thousands of customers. As an Operations Associate, your role is to get our ever growing number of orders to our brilliant customers, in the right way, and at the right time. You will be part of a team which covers multiple touch points, including our state-of-art glazing lab, stock management, order management and fulfilment and logistics. Your day to day role will include: Turning frames into spectacles, like water into wine: by preparing spectacle frames to the highest possible standards Working closely with other teams, such as our retail stores and customer service, as well as Lab and Order Management, to solve problems as they arrive Making sure our spectacles get to the right place, by managing dispatch and shipping stations And ultimately making sure this happens in the right time, using internal KPIs and reporting to meticulous track progress and set priorities Act as an ambassador for Cubitts, helping to educate and excite others about our mission Requirements Who you are: Motivated by the idea of being truly best-in-class Naturally drawn to incremental improvement, setting and then beating goals Highly methodical, you're able to focus on priorities, and work them through in an organised manner Excellent attention to detail Timely, committed and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.
