We are looking for a Transport Architect to join the largest infrastructure project in the UK, working within the client organisation, overseeing state-of-the-art buildings, depots, control centres, and stations being developed on this mega project. The legacy of these projects is truly appealing, incorporating innovative designs and functionality.
In a team of 20 transport architectural professionals, you will be working with a supply chain of major architecture and design consultancies as the buildings move from design through to construction.
You will exhibit good collaborative design experience, with an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally. The project has high building standards and is working on innovative solutions.
While the project is looking for a senior architect, this is a good role to take on if you are ready for the step up into the role, especially if you have already focused on transportation architecture in rail, highways, airports, and ports. Equally, those who have worked in complex multidisciplinary projects such as industrial complexes would be accustomed to the multi-agency regulatory environment present in railways.
There are openings based in Birmingham and London, so packages will vary from (phone number removed) in Birmingham and £52,500 - £65,500 in London.
If transportation architecture is your area of interest, this really is the project to be part of, especially at the client organisation where you will have exposure to the entity of the estate and assets of a mega project.
