Job summary Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join the expanding Training and Guidance Team within the Health Protection Division of Public Health Wales NHS Trust. We are looking for a professional to provide administrative and project support, contributing to the team's mission of enhancing public health training and education across Wales. Interveiw date 14 November 2024 The successful candidate will build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues within the Training and Guidance Team, the wider Health Protection Programmes, and key external stakeholders. They will work with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job Main Duties and Responsibilities Operational Support and Coordination : Provide support and guidance for the implementation of digital public health learning projects across Wales. Support Guidance Function: Administration and delivery of the Guidance function and day to day management of the Quality Management System- iPassport Technical Assistance : Assist in the development and delivery of online learning resources, supporting both virtual and in-person training sessions. Event and Meeting Coordination : Organise and facilitate training events, meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences. Administrative Support : Attend relevant meetings to record minutes and track actions, ensuring smooth follow-up and communication. Communication and Problem Solving : Utilise strong communication and organisational skills to resolve challenges and support project delivery. Flexible Working : Work both remotely and on-site as needed, contributing effectively in a hybrid working environment. Language Skills : Whilst the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, applicants who are fluent in English or Welsh are equally welcome.
