Job Overview
As a key member of the Marketing team, the role holder’s key duties will be to support the Marketing Manager in communicating the brand values and story through effective brand marketing materials, campaigns, and activities. The role will also assist the Marketing Manager with graphic design and production of marketing assets for print and website use.
As a key team member of the Marketing team, the role holder’s key duties will be to:
1. Assist with inspirational content planning and creation.
2. Post content according to the social media schedule and ensure accuracy.
3. Help manage daily interaction on social channels and liaison with customer service as required.
4. Monitor and report on social media performance.
5. Upload website blog content to the CMS.
6. Uphold the brand tone of voice and brand guidelines in all communications.
7. Manage website Content Management System.
8. Assist the team with creation of design assets.
9. Assist with in-house and location photoshoot planning.
10. Manage effective supply, storage, resizing, retouching and supply of images/video to all relevant parties/portals.
11. Support trade shows and customer presentations as required.
12. Help to co-ordinate retailer training activities.
13. Assist the Trade Marketing Manager with Retailer requests (POS/Portal/Swatches etc).
14. Recommend improvements to current activity and processes as appropriate.
15. Assist with other Marketing/Retail/wider business support tasks as required.
16. Send out marketing materials to retailers where required.
Qualities we value
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or business.
2. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
3. Excellent written communication and presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
4. Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Proficiency in Adobe Suite or similar is desirable.
6. Time management, project management and organisational skills to handle conflicting priorities.
