The Role
This Engineering position involves performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production equipment, ensuring safe working practices, and meeting customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual or mechanical functions, Apriso system control, process performance analysis, and routine checks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safe working practices for routine and non-routine tasks
• Manage and maintain the Apriso system, completing assigned work orders within agreed timeframes
• Identify and rectify process performance issues
• Conduct daily routine checks for plant and production equipment
• Monitor equipment condition and perform overhauls as needed
• Carry out planned and ad hoc maintenance, including height/diameter changes, mechanical improvements, and spare parts monitoring
• Support trials and new equipment installation/commissioning
• Provide training and support to personnel
• Offer shift cover when required and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Perform turning, milling, and grinding work as needed
• Operate Forklift trucks when required

Requirements:
• Time served Apprenticeship in an Engineering/Mechanical discipline or equivalent experience
• HND/HNC or equivalent desirable
• Electrical qualification advantageous
• FLT License or willingness to train
