Theatre for Life CIC is a not for profit and community arts organisation working with young people from marginalised groups, NHS, mental health charities, educational providers & the wider community through specialist creative and wellbeing programmes.

Role Description
This is a voluntary position for a Finance Administrator working remotely with Theatre for Life. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, managing finance-related tasks, engaging with stakeholders, and handling accounting duties.
As we grow our capacity and the demand for community projects increases, we are looking for someone who is passionate about community engagement to help with our daily financial management. This role is ideally suited for a retired individual, a student or someone on sabbatical who wishes to become involved in the charitable sector.
We are seeking a minimum commitment of 4 to 8 hours per week, with the specific hours to be determined at the candidate's discretion.
Qualifications
1. Financial Planning and Financial Skills
2. Some experience with grant applications and sponsorship
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Effective communication abilities
5. Proficient in accounting
6. Background in financial administration
7. Keen attention to detail and accuracy
8. Familiarity with financial software
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
