As Assistant Manager – Housekeeping, you will help lead our Housekeeping team. You will assist the Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping, Laundry and Linen Department ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and adhering to the standard required by the hotel.
Some of your duties will include managing the rooms process of “In house VIPs” and arriving “VIPs” along with Front Office and ensuring your team of Attendants work in a systematic manner which leads to excellent levels of service within your remit. Working closely with Team Leaders and the Manager you will consistently strive for the best guest feedback and will monitor performance, correcting any action that does not fit within our standards. You will also assist Engineering with room maintenance and network with all suppliers for rooms stock, getting the best possible level of service for our hotel.
Qualifications
About you:
To be successful in your application, you will have a proven track record in assisting to manage a successful Housekeeping operation of a similar standard and size in Hotels. You will have a deep understanding of the Housekeeping Operation and will be able to make suggestions for improvement to our existing operation. With a keen eye for detail and the highest standards of cleanliness, you will be able to motivate others to perform to the best of their ability and will see the importance of developing individuals to succeed.
With knowledge of opera and Microsoft packages, you will be well presented and have an excellent level of both verbal and written English.
