Job Description Due to expansion and business growth, DHX Denley Hydraulics is hiring a Business Development Manager to expand our sales presence to maximize our market potential. You’ll be visiting existing and potential clients to secure business, agree scope of works, prepare costings and regularly engage with new and existing customers and our wider business. You also will engage internally with design, engineering, quality and production to develop costings and proposals ensure we can exceed client expectations and continue to offer value add solutions. You’ll also prepare tenders and costings for service, maintenance, refurbishment and spares to support our in service assets. The role involves a high degree of autonomy and ownership for your portfolio to achieve your sales intake target. As a confident, articulate, communicator your will be a great ambassador for our brand in the industry. Experience: Preferably from a background in hydraulics or complex industrial design and manufacturing. A passion for sales in a technical setting and familiar with prospecting and closing deals with customers. Experience working with or selling to public procurement, defence and nuclear is preferred. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms and familiarity with internet-based programs. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills (written and verbal). Work Conditions: Willingness to travel nationally a couple of times per month to visit customers, sites and industry events. Ability to work effectively independently and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Achieving business targets through regular review of sales and tendering activities and implementation of improvement/focus plans as needed.
