Learning Support Assistant - Reading

A great opportunity has become available for a Learning Support Assistant, supporting SEN children in a school in Reading.
This position offers hands-on experience working directly with vulnerable students in the classroom.
These young students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, and various other developmental disorders. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health, while also supporting their learning and development.
These young people need someone who can facilitate a positive and safe environment for them to learn and grow. You will gain valuable experience in the sector and have the chance to shadow other professionals in the field.
The role would suit someone who is resilient and confident in supporting young people with challenging mental health needs. This is a great opportunity for aspiring psychologists, social workers, or therapists.
Experience working with children in a school setting is beneficial, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are most important. Graduates in a relevant field will also be considered. Those with a background in sports, art, or drama will also have an advantage.
