We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants (TAs) for our client to work within both mainstream primary and secondary schools to support children in the learning environment, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
· Assist students with their academic work, ensuring they understand and complete tasks
· Help to create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all
· Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
· Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, promoting positive behaviour and interaction
· Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians
· Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to special needs education
Criteria:
· 2-3 years of experience to be demonstrated within the CV and a covering letter.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other professionals
· Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
· Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic educational environment
Candidate Requirement:
· Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
· Valid First Aid Certificate
· Valid Children's Safeguarding Certificate
