Your new role We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and imaginative Key Stage 1 Teacher to join this school's dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, and committed to ensuring the best outcomes for the school's children. Working on a full-time basis, you will teach a class of 13 children, a class comprising children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and mild Special Educational Needs (SEN), and will work alongside a partner teacher, who is an established Key Stage 1 Teacher. Your role will include: Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community. Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1. A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Strong and effective behaviour management is essential, as is having high expectations of behaviour. Experience of Read Write Inc (RWI), Number Sense and TT Rock Stars will be desirable, but not essential. A commitment to working in partnership with your partner teacher. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
