Exciting Opportunity: BIM Manager - Join Our Vision for Sizewell C At the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we are recruiting for a BIM Manager to play a pivotal role in the Marine and Tunnelling (M&T) Portion of the Sizewell C project. This is your chance to be part of one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects-Sizewell C. The 3.2-gigawatt power station will provide low-carbon electricity for approximately 6 million homes, ensuring a sustainable energy future for the UK for the next 60 years. As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies and systems that are critical to the success of the M&T portion. You will lead the efforts in 3D model development, data management, and information delivery, ensuring alignment with both client (SZC) and CWA digitalisation objectives. What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain a digital strategy for M&T, ensuring compliance with SZC and CWA digital goals. Lead the creation and implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP). Drive paperless initiatives by developing modelling specifications and collaborating closely with stakeholders. Introduce innovative digital engineering practices and data management solutions that improve project delivery efficiency. Manage a team of information managers and BIM technicians, ensuring successful coordination and delivery across various stages of the project. What We’re Looking For: Significant experience in BIM delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in a contractor-led environment. In-depth knowledge of ISO19650 and a passion for driving digital transformation in the construction industry. Proven leadership and team management experience with a focus on delivering complex projects. Strong understanding of digital systems and the ability to drive change and innovation within project teams.
